A small miracle happened on Monday. I pulled into Maverik to get gas and it was under $3.00 a gallon. I wanted to get out and do a cartwheel but instead filled my van. It was under $50! I was thrilled. Thank heavens for little miraculous events that make us thankful.

I know. Isn't it great, even if it's temporary. Here gas is down to 2.65. If only it would last.

Amen! Halleluia! Our regular gas in Steamboat Springs has been under three dollars for two weeks now and today I noticed that the next octane up was also under three dollars. I did hear on the news that thanks to the Wall Street disaster we can expect gas prices to keep falling. Thank heaven for small favors.
In New York the lowest is $2.59. It's about time!
